We follow what I like to call the 3 E's of Home Farming, or just E3...

1)Enjoyable - meaning if it is something you love growing.
2)Easy - So many foods are easy to grow.
3)Expensive - If it cost $$ in the store, then grow it at home!

When just starting out, many ask me how I decided what I should grow. Well, there it is -plain and simple. As each year goes by, we add more and more to our list.
I also highly recommend fruit trees!!

Hot shredded chicken and cranberries in a honey garlic vinaigrette over mixed fresh greens. YUM!

I new meaning to Victory Gardens...

I am declaring Victory!

I think we have managed to over-plant, over-coffee ground, out-mulch the snails! I was determined not to use toxins of any kind, and I believe we won.

Persistent though they were for some time, their numbers are dwindling.

We are a true victory garden now!

The bush beans are taking off like crazy, and we may even have enough for some pickling soon.

Who doesn't love Cilantro...

Oh my, the snails are out in force this year. We have been out morning and night relocating the little buggers!
